Board and Training In Bristol With Experienced Dog Trainers

Your dog deserves more than a kennel and a clipboard. Our board and train program is an immersive experience where your dog becomes part of our family, learning in a real home environment with daily hands-on training, real-world outings, and the kind of relationship-focused attention that creates lasting change.

Not a Kennel - A Real Home

Most board and train programs put your dog in a facility, run them through drills, and send them back. Ours is different. Your dog stays in our home in Bristol, not a sterile, dusty kennel or training facility. This matters because dogs learn best in environments that mirror real life.

When training happens in a home setting, those behaviors transfer a bit easier to your household. We create a calm, structured environment grounded in trust, communication, and leadership. Your dog knows what’s expected, feels secure, and begins building the habits that will serve them for life.

WHAT A DAY LOOKS LIKE

Daily Training, Real-World Practice

Every day during your dog’s stay includes structured training and real-life application:

Structured Training Sessions Leash work, impulse control, obedience cues—practiced consistently throughout the day, not just in one rushed session.

Real-World Outings We take your dog to stores, restaurants, parks, and public spaces to practice focus, attentiveness, and confidence where it counts. Training in a controlled environment is one thing; responding reliably in the real world is what actually matters.

Crate Training We use the crate as a tool for building independence and calm—not as a place to store your dog. Crate time is paired with potty routines to build reliability and balance.

Potty Training A predictable schedule with immediate reinforcement helps your dog understand expectations and build good habits quickly.

OUR APPROACH

Relationship-Based Training

Every dog communicates through body language, and we pay attention. Whether your dog needs space, encouragement, or clarity, we respond in ways that build trust and connection. This isn’t about dominance or forcing compliance. It’s about calm leadership that helps your dog understand what’s expected and trust your guidance.

Our methods include:

  • High-value, human-grade treats
  • Praise and encouragement
  • Game-based learning
  • Positive reinforcement throughout

We combine obedience training with relationship dynamics because a dog who trusts you is a dog who wants to listen. That’s what creates results that last beyond the program.
