We needed training for our 7 month old Boston Terrier, Coco. After reading great reviews, we decided to go with Training That Lasts. We were so impressed with Tyler! He is so knowledgeable and explains everything so well! Our pup is very timid so of course she wouldn’t get all crazy for him but we were able to take everything he said and start implementing right away. He gives a ton of info so definitely be ready to take notes! After ONE day we were already making progress! We know it’s a work in progress but Tyler definitely set us up with all the tools we need to do this. We definitely made the right choice!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Experience with Tyler! We cannot recommend Tyler enough! We recently did a behavioral consultation for our 1-year-old Maltese mix, whom we adopted from a shelter after he was found on the street. We knew he had the potential to be a great dog, but we were really struggling with how to connect with him and handle some of his behaviors. Tyler’s approach was incredible—his knowledge wasn't just cold, clinical facts; it was warm, practical, and deeply intuitive. He gave us amazing, successful resources and tools that helped us see our dog in a brand-new way. The results have been nothing short of amazing. After just **one day**, the transformation is noticeable. My son can now sit and lay down with him without any fear of nipping or biting! It is such a massive relief for our family. We are so grateful for Tyler's help and are already looking forward to joining his group classes, as well as doing more individual sessions in the future if needed. If you need help connecting with your dog, Tyler is the person to see!

I had been looking for specific training for my Golden Doodle as he would show aggression towards other dogs and it was hard to take him on a walk without him throwing a fit. Working with Tyler has been amazing as just within the first 5 minutes of his walk he went from throwing a temper tantrum to fully engaged with Tyler, waiting for the next command. This has made my life so much easier and he seems so much happier being able to connect with me and focus. He's been so exhausted from the mental stimulation that he doesn't even notice anyone walking by on the path. I stand by Tyler's training methods and will recommend him to anyone I come across that's looking for some help with their dog.

If your looking for a great trainer and long term training support, Look no further!!! About About a year and a half ago I rescued a 9 year old Bichon. I Began researching Training places to help socialize my new to me dog, I stumbled upon Training That Lasts and when I talked to them initially, they really put my mind at ease. Once I had the consultation with Tyler, he was very knowledgeable, not only on training and dog psychology, but with nutrition also, which I loved. He took his time explaining everything in detail. Petey my bichon made great progress, however I have not stayed consistent and need to come back for more training and discipline on myself. Which is why I am so excited the pack walks and training weekends have started back up this spring!!!

We had our consultation with Tyler yesterday evening. His approach made me think about things differently than the other dog training programs we’ve gone through- focusing on not just their behavior, but yours as well. I understand better the type of energy that I need to bring to the table to be more effective when trying to teach my pups. We got some things to work on now and I really look forward to hopping into some weekend classes to keep improving to make both our lives happier and better!

Tyler is an amazing trainer! He's very knowledgeable and passionate about his life's work and pours all of himself into each dog. The results speak for themselves. My pup has grown to be a very well behaved, disciplined, and confident dog. From the structured walks and house breaking, it was definitely worth the time and investment.

Wow! Just finished an in home consultation with Tyler, the owner. He is very knowledgeable, personable, but direct. He brought a background on nutrition, lifestyle and human to pet connection, which led to conversations about dog/owner behavior, structure and diet. The consultation is more than just a review of how you manage your dog in your home or elsewhere, it is about how to connect with them and bring guidance for a well behaved companion. Don’t wonder. Just do it. It’s worth it!

I had a training/consultation with Tyler this week for my almost 8 week old German Shepherd puppies. I also have 2 other older dogs in the home. I was feeling a bit overwhelmed. I was in need of guidance in training the puppies and also how to have all the dogs interact in a safe and positive environment. Tyler exceeded my expectations. He taught my puppies to sit, lay, turn around all simple hand gestures and movements. I was beyond impressed. His knowledge about having a positive connection with your dog and teaching them how to have proper dog etiquette was amazing. He teaches POSITIVE reinforcement, which I believe is the only way to effectively and properly train an animal. I am truly impressed by his dedication, commitment, and knowledge not only in dog training but proper nutrition as well. Tyler is truly passionate about what he does and it shows. Thank you Tyler! I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking any assistance or insight on properly training a puppy or a dog. My experience was WONDERFUL!
