Part Time (Office/Remote)
Sales Representative
This is not high-pressure sales. This is helping people make the right next decision for their dog. The right person can listen, explain training options clearly, follow up without being annoying, and help clients move from “we need help” to “let’s get started.”
- Follow up with leads and past clients after consultations
- Review trainer notes before calls so conversations are specific and useful
- Explain one-on-one training, structured walks, group classes, and other programs
- Help clients choose the next step based on their dog’s behavior and goals
- Handle common objections around price, timing, consistency, and uncertainty
- Book clients into the correct program and update HubSpot after every call
- Track call outcomes, follow-up tasks, sales activity, and client status
- Support promotional campaigns and re-engagement campaigns for past clients
- A confident, conversational sales style
- The ability to listen first, then guide
- Comfort talking about pricing without getting weird about it
- Follow-up discipline. No ghost leads, no mystery notes, no “I think I called them”
- Basic CRM experience or the ability to learn quickly
- Respect for the training process and the patience to explain it clearly
- Bonus points for experience in service sales, pet care, training, veterinary, grooming, or local business sales
Part Time (OFFICE/Remote)
Customer Service Representative
Training That Lasts is growing, and we need someone who can help keep the people side of the business calm, clear, and moving. This role is for the person who can answer questions, schedule clients, organize follow-ups, and make sure no dog parent feels lost after they reach out.
- Answer phone calls, emails, text messages, and online inquiries
- Help clients understand our training options and what program may fit their dog
- Schedule consultations, training sessions, group classes, and follow-up calls
- Keep client records, notes, tasks, and communication organized in HubSpot
- Assist with Salesmsg communication and basic client updates
- Prepare invoices, confirm payments, and support simple admin tasks
- Help make sure clients feel informed before, during, and after training
- Clear communication and a steady phone presence
- Strong organization, especially with calendars and follow-up tasks
- Comfort using CRM systems, texting platforms, email, and basic software
- Patience with people who may be stressed, overwhelmed, or emotional about their dogA team-first mindset and a willingness to learn how Training That Lasts operates
